Swap to low mana set for spirit boosts
•  If you use a Low Mana Set, the addon will swap to that set when you have a regen boosting effect on you such as Innervate, Spirit Tap, or Evocation.

•  If you don't have a Low Mana Set, keep this unchecked. Otherwise, it's up to your discretion.
•  (NOTE: As of Patch 2.3, Evocation is no longer affect by spirit. However, mages can still use this setting to increase their Evocation bonus. Instead of a spirit weapon, place an extremely high Intellect weapon in your Low Mana Set, and set your "Cast to Low" and "Low to Cast" sliders at 0%. If this option is checked and you use Evocation, you will increase your mana pool. So even though the % mana restored remains the same, with a higher mana pool, a higher amount of mana will be restored.)
Swap to Druid sets when in a Druid form
•  Checking this activates the Druid Bear Set and Druid Cat Set.
•  Unless you are a druid, leave this unchecked.

Here's how the options should look for only two weapons:

You can now exit the configuration menu and try it out.

If you have "Print swaps" selected, you will see messages like this throughout combat:
Combat Messages

If you have "Post-fight reports" selected, you will receive a summary when combat ends. Here's a sample report from a Morogrim Tidewalker kill.
Combat Summary Report

My enchant gave my group an effective 8 MP5 increase in this fight, and my Spellsurge weapon was only equipped 24% of the fight.

Here's a sample report from an Al'ar kill.
Sample Report

My enchant gave my group an effective 7 MP5 increase in this fight, and my Spellsurge weapon was equipped 29% of the fight.

Another useful thing to note is that there are shortcut commands for turning swapping on and off:
/cws on
/cws off
/cws toggle

There are also different settings for every character, so you will need to set options for each character using the addon.

Limitations of CasterWeaponSwapper

There are a couple limitations currently for CasterWeaponSwapper.

The biggest one concerns hybrid classes who have both a spell damage set and healing set. Currently there is no support for this. If you are a healer with a Healing/Spellsurge set and want to equip a spell damage weapon, you will need to turn swapping off. Otherwise, it will swap back to your Healing/Spellsurge weapons when combat begins. The same is true for damage casters who want to equip a healing set.
Likewise, if you have a Damage/Spellsurge set AND a Healing/Spellsurge set, you will have to reconfigure your weapons in the options menu everytime you want to change roles.

Another limitation is that the addon distinguishes between items by Item Name, not by Item ID. So if you have two identical weapons (for example, two Gavel of Unearthed Secrets) with different enchants, the addon configures improperly. Until CasterWeaponSwapper supports this, you will either have to forgo using the addon or find a second, different weapon. (I used double Gavels before I got the Mindblade, so this issue has been reported to the addon's author.)

Conclusion

I hope this guide has fully explained how Spellsurge works and how to make it most effective for you and your raid party. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Good luck and happy Spellsurging!
