1) I decided to try the Furry build to see why so many people stood behind it. I started a new warrior and leveled him using this build. I have to agree and disagree with the Furry build. It is a good PvP build and it is very helpful against elite, but my survival rate went down. I felt this happened because I lost a lot of the damage over time (DOT) abilities. These instants caused quite a bit of damage when I was fighting and would sometimes keep me alive in longer fights, but not necessarily bad pulls, elites, or multiple mob fights. So I can see a difference in some cases. I did a lot more crits with this build allowing me to take on more mobs at once, and using demoralizing shout I kept them from doing as much damage to me. In fact, when I was doing quests where mobs were close together I found that I could take on multiple mobs and stay alive, but this wasn't always true, because when I lost the DOT ability I would use Rend on the mob. When it ran away it wouldn't always die before reaching another mob for an assist, so sometimes 2-3 mobs would become 5 or so, after one or two ran away to get help.

2) For professions I go with either making the warrior your gatherer and giving two gathering profs, such as mining and skinning or another combination. If you don't want to do that or don't have an alt to mule for you. I would go with Mining/Blacksmithing. Personally since I now have two warriors, I making one a armor smith and one a Weaponsmith. Other than that I would go with Herbalism/Alchemy for the buffs which are great for PvP and sell very well in the AH because people always need potions because a priest or paladin isn't always available for buffs.

3) For low level ( up to 20s) combat, I would do the following:

4) For single mobs: Select target -> Charge -> Thunder Clap or Rend -> Demoralizing Shout -> Battle Shout (if the mob isn't dead yet). If the mob is still not dead cast Heroic Strike as available. All the while your melee should continue the entire fight.

5) For multiple Mobs: Select target -> Shoot (bow or gun) -> Cast Bloodrage -> Thuderclap or Rend -> Demoralizing Shout -> Battle Shout -> Heroic Strike if still not dead (if bad pull cast cleave for multiple mobs)

6) Once you reach the 20s to 30s you can really start taking on multiple mobs without shooting. Bad pulls aren't as big a deal. If you think you've pulled too much cast Retaliation and watch the warrior go medieval on some mobs. It's funny to see how quick he/she moves after that. Just be careful when deciding to use it because it has a 30 min cool down. Whirlwind is also good for this, just again think about cool down time when casting some of these.
