The V.I.P Competition

Hello people of WoWGuideOnline, I'm here today to discuss a new competition that I will be hosting, It's a vBulletin skin competition, basically what this is... is an attempt to bring some creativity back to WoWGuideOnline. Its been some time since I have seen anything really "good" or revolutionary, so hopefully this little competition will bring it back. It will be broken up into three categories, but there can only be one overall winner. The categories will be explained below, but you will be judged on originality, creativity, and how polished the finished product is. The competition will start on May 30, 2011 and it will end on June 6, 2011 at midnight. The winner will be picked on June 7, 2011. So you'll have one week to come up with something unique. Now, this is not the time to build something COMPLETELY outrageous, you shouldn't try and start a huge project that you probably won't finish in one week, but don't half ass it either.

Categories:

The categories go as follows:

World of Warcraft: This means anything that has to do with World of Warcraft is 100% acceptable and everything within' this category is fair game. But, it must be NEAT, UNIQUE, and WELL THOUGHT OUT!


Starcraft: This means that we'll take anything that is Starcraft related, even though we aren't a "Starcraft" forum, it's still made by Blizzard. Everything within' this category is 100% acceptable AND is fair game. But, it must be NEAT, UNIQUE, and WELL THOUGHT OUT!


Diablo: Anything that has to do with "Diablo" is 100% acceptable and fair game. But, everything must be NEAT, UNIQUE, and WELL THOUGHT OUT!

7 days may not seem like enough time, but it should be to get your idea done and over with.

Judging / Posting

You'll be judged on everything that was mentioned above.

These entries are for the site, so of course you're going to post them here for people to see, if you don't like it, don't enter the competition.

Judges

The judging will go as follows: We'll go through each category and pick one. These will be the top three or 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Once this happens, the community will get to vote on who they think the winner should be. The votes will be tallied up like this: 2/3 of the votes come from the judges, and the other 1/3 comes from the community.

Prizes!!!

Here is the section you probably scrolled down the page for. Well, this competition is no different, besides the obvious aspect of giving back to the community new and original releases, there will be a VIP access prize. Trust me, it'll be worth your time. I must point out that only the winner will receive the VIP access the runner-up and 3rd place will get other prizes. So, stay tuned for the announcement of the runner-up and 3rd place prizes. Plus, you'll get as much reputation as I can possibly imagine!
