Forum Rep

I have implemented a forum reputation system. I appears as green boxes under their names, and is labeled "Forum Rep". If gives users a way to recognize others that make useful contributions on the forum.

If someone makes a post and you really like it, or its really helpful to you, then give them some rep for it. To do this, just click the rep icon at the bottom of their information on the left side of their post. It looks like a medal or ribbon, and it says "Add To (Username) Reputation" when you mouse over it.

Faction, Race & Gender, Class, and Character Info

As some of you may have noticed there are icons below your names now that denote Faction, Race, Class, and Gender. There is also a section labeled "Character Info." I implemented these based on the answers to questions in your account details. If these are not displaying properly for you, then you have not answered all the fields that ask about race, faction, class, gender, etc.

To answer those question click on the "USERCP" link at the top of the page, and click "Edit Your Details" in the left hand menu.

Avatars

I have implemented a default avatar. You may notice that some people have the same avatar. That is because they have not selected their avatars, and the system is giving them one by default.

If you want to select your own avatar, click on "USERCP" link at the top of the page, and click on "Edit Avatar". Please note that the option to "Edit Profile Picture" does not change your avatar, it changes the picture on your user profile page.

If you want to use your own avatar you are free to upload one. If you want to make your own, and want to use the wide format that most avatars have (looks best in my opinion), the specific size of the wide avatars is 168 pixels wide and 78 pixels high. So they are 168x78. I also put a black border around them that is 2 pixels. If you don't know how to do this then post a request here with a link to the picture you want to use, and I'll make it for you.

Good places to find pictures to make into avatars:

WoW -> Downloads -> Wallpapers

Blizzard Entertainment: Community: Fan Art

deviantART: where ART meets application!

Alright, you were warned, now I must take action. Your forum account will be locked for a period of 48 hours, once the suspension is uplifted you'll be able to access your account again.
