Well there hasn’t been a whole lot going on with Vorya lately, although he is trying out some new specs which has been pretty fun. He’s trying out a frost build for PvE and a fire build for PvP (they’re normally switched). It’s actually quite amazing how much damage a fire mage can put out in a short amount of time. I remember a Warsong Gulch match where I somehow managed to put out almost 200k damage in less than 25 minutes. Nifty! Blizzard has done a pretty good job making frost viable for PvE too which is great. I like having my big blue buddy around all the time.
Alts have been grinding their way up a couple levels too, including my DK and Hunter starting their journey through Northrend finally!
Christmas is just about here though, which is great and kinda sad too because I look forward to it all year and then it comes and passes so quickly these days. *sigh* Here’s wishing everyone the best this season, and, watch out for reindeer…

Hello again and welcome back to my blog here! So I promised to write up a little bit more about my toon so here goes. According to WoW, I’ve been playing Vorya for about 86 days now. I wondered when I first saw that because in real time it’s been quite a bit longer than that. Then it dawned on me that it only counts time logged in…anyway, he started off as a fire spec about halfway through TBC expansion, which meant that I barely got my feet wet in Karazhan before Wrath came out. With the advent of Wrath, I quickly became enamored with frostfire bolt, and have stuck with it and it’s spec ever since. You’ll notice, however, that I elect to take blastwave and dragon’s breath. I love those spells too much to give them up. I have dual spec’d into a pvp frost set up, although I don’t mind switching that up every now and then to try something different. I don’t pvp a whole lot, although I’ve recently been using battlegrounds to help level my many alts. I think that’s all I have to say about that for right now, though I wouldn’t mind giving more details about anything regarding that, at a later date.
I did get to watch most of the MLG WoW tournament this past weekend via their live stream (go go HD!). If you’ve never watched amazingly skilled players duke it out arena style within the WoW setting, you’re missing something special. I suck at arena, but I have fun playing it anyway when I get the chance. Watching some amazing battles was a ton of fun though. Perhaps the most interesting story of the weekend for me, was the RMP (that’s rogue/mage/priest, in case you didn’t know) team of Button Bashers shutting down Check Six running a beast rush set up (BM Hunter/Enh Shammy/Holy Pally) designed to beat the RMP team! Hats off to them!
Okay, that’s about it for today, ciao!
