One of the nice things about WoW is that there is always something else to do. Always.

Brr! The last week or so has been unusually cold here in Memphis but it has started to warm back up to the usual level of cold by now, which most of us are grateful for. Still, I wish we’d had more snow, since all we got was a pathetic dusting one night…

Anyway, you’ll all be happy to note I finally took myself into ICC this last week, even if it was just for a quick rep run. However, my guild (I’ve switched to where a bunch of the people I knew were going, same server) has started running morning raids again so you can expect some glorious news of fantastic failures in the near future I hope!

One of the nice things about WoW is that there is always something else to do. Always. Unless you’re that guy who has every achievement. For example, I was doing my fishing daily the other day down by Moa’ki Harbor or whatever it’s called and found out I hadn’t done the Kal’uak quests! Never mind their dailies. So after less than an hour of cleaning up some quests I now stand just over the revered mark with them, ready to tackle the long road up to exalted.

In other news, my alts are still coming along, slowly but surely. Got my Dk and Hunter up to Northrend and level 70. I need to go farm some gold though because my rogue and druid are gonna hit 40 pretty soon and I want better mounts and dual-speccing, especially for the druid. Hmm…

Lastly, it has been reported that the Friends and Family Alpha testing for Cataclysm is starting anytime now. While this is very cool, let me issue the same warnings that other sites are saying too: Be Careful. If you or someone close to you does not work for Blizzard then you will NOT be getting an invite to this phase of testing. Anyone attempting to sell you a key or cd or any other kind of access to this testing is a SCAM. In addition, there will be no leaks of info during this time so any rumors you hear can only be that: rumors. The good news is that this means that beta testing probably isn’t very far off. It seems Cataclysm could reasonably see a late summer/early autumn release if all goes according to plan.

Have a great week!
