It’s Hallow’s End!

Once again it’s Hallow’s End! All of Azeroth is wrapped up in the annual spooky holiday! Once again evil forces are terrorizing Azure Watch, Brill, Goldshire, Kharanos, Razor Hill, and Silvermoon City! For anyone wanting to take part in the festivities, you should stop by one of these towns and speak to the Costumed Orphan Matron! Also be sure to speak to innkeepers throughout Azeroth and trick-or-treat! Personally, I’ve made many rounds in the bucket brigade as the Headless Horseman attacks Goldshire!

After you’ve had your round there, and done the daily quest, be sure to head to Scarlet Monastery! There, in the graveyard instance, you will find a daily quest to kill the Headless Horseman! This is a level 80 daily, so it isn’t for the lowbies! If you’re lucky, you may get his mount, which is a ground mount as well as a flying mount, or The Horseman’s Horrific Helm that echoes his laugh when you click on it.

It only runs for two weeks, so you need to make every effort to get the Headless Horseman down each day! Also don’t forget to trick-or-treat every hour since it’s the only way to get masks for the achievement! On a side note, I’m still trying to complete A Mask for all Occasions achievement. This is now my third year of Hallow’s End, and I still haven’t completed it!

Wow Cataclsym Alpha and Beta Scams

With Blizzard trying to crush gold sellers because of them hacking accounts, selling your items, and sending your gold off, you start to think about how they got your information in the first place. Blizzard started to investigate the matter of accounts getting hacked, and found out that people are receiving e-mails from so called “Blizzard Employees” saying that you have been selected to take part in the World of Warcraft Alpha or Beta.

On the WoW forums, Vaneras (Blizzard Blue Poster) says clearly that there are no current plans on an Alpha or Beta. He also recommends that if you receive an email saying you have been accepted you should delete it! Don’t even think of opening the link, because you might be at risk of them sneaking a Trojan or Key-logger onto your PC.

If you are worried about your WoW account or your PC, Wow Account Safety Forum will help protect you and find any viruses on your PC.
